250/500 contest w/ Witchi :D | CONTEST UNDERWAY

Witchi and I recently hit 250 subs and 500 subs respectively, so we've decided to host a contest together!

There'll be three rounds, starting with golems, which could range anywhere from this to this to even this!
THIS ROUND WILL RUN FROM THE 23RD-29TH OF THIS MONTH

The second round will be vocaloids, be it a pre-existing character, or one of your own creation.
THIS ROUND WILL RUN FROM THE 29TH-5TH OF FEB

The third and final round will be a PBL-type round, where we will assign you a palette and have you go crazy with it, just do the best you can do!
THIS ROUND WILL RUN FROM THE 5TH-12TH OF FEB



PRIZES

All participants will get a trophy for participation, which imo is cute as heck (but I'm biased cause I made it, and it features two precious lil babs ;o).

Third place will get a skin request from witchi, a pixel art avatar from me, and a neat lil trophy based on the golem round.

Second place will get two skin requests from witchi, and pixel art avatar from me, a sketch of a character of their choice (be reasonable with it pls I beg), and a trophy based on the vocaloid round.

finally, First place will get three skin requests from witchi, a skin request from me, a pixel avatar from me, a sketchdump of up to five characters of their choice (once again, reasonable please), and a *trophy based on their skin from the final round

*please note that this will take longer to make, as I won't be able to start work on it until the winners have been decided. We may or may not delay the announcement of the winners for this trophy, who knows, we'll see what happens.



JUDGING RUBRIC

You will be judged based on three things:

Creativity: How wild do you get with your entry? Will you make a simple personified iron golem, or will you wow us with something out of your own, wonderful creation? We wanna see those creative juices flowing, so use your imagination here, have fun with it!

Execution: Do your colours work nicely together? Is your shading too soft and difficult to see? I highly doubt it is, but we're looking for your best effort, so work hard and make something beautiful<3

Explanation: ew. you have to write words. gross right? Well, suck it up buttercup, cause we'd like you to explain each one of your entries to us in their descriptions! This doesn't mean you have to write a whole, five paragraph rant about how much you love miku, for example, we'd just like you to explain how your skin ties into the current round's theme. This only needs to take 2-3 sentences at the minimum, this section is essentially free points if you just tell us what you've made and why :>

All three of these will count for 25 points, meaning your overall score for each round will be out of 75.
