so, heres a very much overdue minecraft skin contest announcement.
please read the information in its entirety if you think you would like to enter.
if you explain your entry, more points can be awarded, but it is not mandatory.
there will be three rounds- round one, round two and the final round.
please comment if you're going to enter, I'm only accepting 21, so be fast.
round 1.theme - musical -
be experimental, you could base the skin on a song, an instrument a band, a singer, etc.
make sure your idea is original
if you decide to base the skin on a song, make sure you explain how it connects with the lyrics or sound of the song itself,
do not just title the skin with the song name.
please comment saying you wish to enter the contest- do this BEFORE THE 20TH OF MAY- or you will not be accepted.
the first 21 people to comment, saying they will join, will be entered in round one of the contest.
remember only 21 people can enter round one.
starts may 20th, all entries by 27th of may.
11 contestants are eliminated, leaving 10.
round 2.theme - food-
you could base this skin on any type of food, for example: seafood, fast food, desserts etc.
29th of may to the 5th of june.
5 contestants are eliminated, leaving 5.
round 3.
theme -historical-
this theme can range throughout time, you could base the skin on an era- or a famous historical person
try to match your palette with the theme of your entry.
7th june to the 14th of june.
3 winners will be announced.
rules:
- NO re-uploading pre-made skins- every entry must be created specifically for this contest.
- NO using other contestant's ideas- the more original, the better.
- you are only allowed ONE entry per contestant
- this is an independent contest, please do not team with other contestant
- please do not enter if you think there is a chance you will drop out, thanks
- and please stick to basic contest rules, or you will be disqualified

shading: ?/10
palette: ?/10
originality: ?/10
explanation: ?/10
popreels, levels, experience or diamonds- etc. do not count towards the winning of the contest
the entry will be judged on its own.
the judges will try to give constructive feedback on each skin, hopefully this will help you improve in the future.
and definitely don't doubt yourself, even if you don't win!
prizes
each contestant will receive a 'participant' trophy.
the final 5 will receive a 'finalist' trophy.
the 3 winners will receive either 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place trophies- and other prizes for the winners are yet to be announced.
