The night was crisp, and young. As the bright moon overhead set the wastes awash with its silver light, the figure of a dark silhouette can be seen traversing the dead salt flats. Their eyes cast the faint glow of green optics upon the sands. A face that now is merely but a memory of the guardians of the past, replaced by their successors, a red visage that had become the new face of the silent executioner, a whisperer of justice using the song of lead and gunpowder to carry their message. As this messenger of an older era strolls along the pitch-blackness of the wastes, they spot the familiar neon glow from the distance, the ever present light of New Vegas.
