This is Aaron. She had a rough time going through life but never thought much of it. She always thought everyone had it worse and thought everything was fine. In reality, her life was a lot worse than she thought. Her dad was abusive not as abusive as his girlfriend, though. No Matter how many horrible unforgivable things she did her father couldn't seem to care. He was blinded by love. Her father was not a rich man or anywhere close to it he spent all his money on tattoos, cigarettes, and booze. His girlfriend would drink the booze, smoke the cigarettes and take the money. He would just go buy more for himself. Her father could never stand up and do something for himself when it came to her. Aaron was verbally and physically abused by this woman for 7 years. Aaron learned at a young age that life wasn't as pretty as it seems. Those movies were all imagination and happier versions of reality. She learned that it was a sick cruel world
Aaron's mother did everything she could for her. It wasn't much but it was enough. Aaron's mother found everything hard to handle. She put a lot of stress on Aaron.
Aaron's difficult past made her strong and next to numb when it comes to emotional pain
When Aaron got older, her dad's girlfriend just left one day. No words said. She took Aaron's fathers belongings but small things he noticed over time. Aaron was so happy to see that she was gone but, something didn't seem right. She knew something was wrong. Her father got extremely depressed. Aaron hated to see him like that and wanted to leave. But she wouldn't leave for she was afraid he would take his own life. A month or so later Aaron's father found a new girlfriend. She wasn't very pretty but he was happy and she was much nicer. She had a daughter named Jessi. Jessi and Aaron became close very quickly. Everything seemed great. Aaron's father went to her house. It was piled with garbage to the ceiling. Aaron's father couldn't handle it. That relationship started to decline. Aaron's father began to complain about her appearance, lifestyle and attitude.
One cold January day about -15 Aaron was messing around with her father with Jessi and his girlfriend. The "Messing around" quickly became play fighting and play fighting quickly became real fighting. In the blink of an eye, it went from laughing to tears. Aaron found herself pinned to the ground with her father holding her down. Sweat started to drip from his face on to Aaron's chest. Aaron did the only thing she could. She fought back. She banged him in the head with hers knocking him off. Aaron picked herself up off the floor dripping with tears and blood and ran straight to the washroom. Aaron left her phone in there. She opened a drawer which held the door shut along with locking it. Aaron grabbed her phone and crawled out a window on ground level, thank god it was in a basement. She ran as fast as she could in the freezing weather barefoot with nothing but her t-shirt jeans and phone. She was bleeding and crying and running. Slipping on ice running as fast as she could, she came to a main road. She grabbed her phone called her mother and she rushed to get Aaron. Her mother asked her what had happened? Aaron said while gasping for air:
"Never take *cough* me back there"
Knowing Aaron was to damaged to speak or walk any more she left her to relax. The police were never alerted but it never happen again. Aaron refused to see this man she was forced to call her father ever. In the time Aaron was recovering at home with her mother, Aaron got a call. It was Jessi in tears and her mother in tear from Aarons father breaking up with her. She didn't know how to respond and just said sorry.
2 months later....
Aaron was in the car with her mother and he mother asked
"Hey, Aaron! Would you like to go get coffee?"
Aaron thought it was a great idea. They went inside to escape the cold and sat at a table. A man walked in the door, to Aaron's surprise it was her father. Aaron refused to talk or make eye contact, she put her headphones in a kept herself from yelling and running out. Aaron's father and mother made a deal that Aaron would start seeing him again. As things defused it was slowly getting back to a sense of normal. Aaron found herself with her head always in video games. She played one game which she made friends on they always asked her to Skype them but she knew her mother would never allow her. One day she downloaded Skype and joined a call with these people. Aaron had no idea but threw this she made so many friends that were amazing people and she loved so much. Drama happened over these friendships. But don't all friendships have drama sometimes? As a good year was coming to an end Aaron would talk to these people and play video games every day. Aaron was really happy. But no happiness can last for too long. She was put under a lot of stress by people at her school and her parents.
By the end of the year, Aaron had missed almost all school year. When she did go people would call her bulimic because she had stomach problems and couldn't hold down food very well. All her friends from school slowly faded away. Aaron didn't care about them, though, she had amazing friends via the internet.
