The Light Devourer

The Light Devourer silently wanders around towns, seeking its main source of sustenance - light. It takes an immense inhale and consumes masses of it which moves down the tube on the back of its head into the cell on its back which fuels its movement and gives it energy and stamina. If the cell is filled to the top, the creature will last about a month. If it is completely empty, then the creature will become weary and soon pass out.

The Light Devourer is an armoured creature with a high level of intelligence and is, despite its name, rather passive, unless it is provoked enough - then it will not hesitate to use the light that it has stored to expel and blind any unfortunate attacker. No one knows a whole lot about the Light Devourer, except me of course, and its habitat is currently unknown - but we can only speculate that it lives in a secretive area unbeknownst to us. Every sighting of the Light Devourer has been on its own, which leads us to believe that it is quite a solitary species.
