A newer and reworked version of Broly who will appear as the main antagonist in the upcoming film,
Dragon Ball Super: Broly (2018),
in which he will encounter -
Goku and Vegeta, and meet Frieza, Beerus and Whis for the first time.
Although the original character had a widespread popularity,
until now he was not part of the Dragon Ball series official continuity.
